Personalized Sessions:
Your combined Pilates and massage sessions with Shannon Briese, LMT begin with a thorough assessment of your posture, gait and range of motion. Based on your initial evaluation a Pilates routine specific to your body and its individual needs will be developed. You will then be brought through your Pilates session with special guidance in alignment and controlled movement. Through out the Pilates session Shannon will carefully observe and note any restriction and tension in your body that keeps you from fully experiencing the benefits of pain free movement and alignment. After your Private Pilates lesson you then move to your therapeutic massage treatment where Shannon attends to freeing up restrictions caused by muscle and tissue imbalances. Each issue will be specifically addressed to ensure a lasting change in the way you carry your body.
Weekly visits are encouraged for optimal results, with Pilates and massage therapy booked back to back. After your first 5 visits there will be a re-evaluation and changes will be noted. Your program will then be modified to suite your needs for the second half of your package.
